One of the main goals while launching Navarini USA was not to "cherry pick" by simply bringing a few products to the United States that "sells well". There are already some other companies and retailers that do exactly that. They only select some "special products" that they believe they would be able to sell as many as possible and as quickly as possible. The result is a more or less random selection of those products available in the US.
What we believe is missing is a dedicated and comprehensive selection that the US consumer is able to choose from. There are quite a few places that have some copper cookware or copper kitchenware products available. But usually those are either of lower quality and/or the selection is far away from being complete in a sense that it would cover most of the needed cookware in todays kitchen or restaurant.
One of our main goals was not to do what is already being done and only look at the "numbers and economics" of the product. We tried to look at it from the perspective of the chef or cook that might want to be able to compile a selection of needed copper cookware for their kitchen or restaurant. This means that we have to make a selection of high quality copper cookware available that covers most of today's cooking needs. So not only offering a copper bean pot or a copper fry pan but also copper stock pots, copper stew pots, and even copper woks and a copper fondue. But also different sizes of copper cookware as well as having them available with or without lids, copper chef pans with or without a helper handle and so on.
All of those products will exclusively be hand-made by Navarini in Ravina, Italy. No short-cuts and no compromises if it comes to quality and functionality. Making all products by hand might mean that it takes a little longer to make them but it also enables us to customize every single product if needed. If you want a copper pan that has 8 handles - we will do our best to make this for you. We might never really understand why you need a pan with 8 handles but we would be quite sure that you are probably the only one that owns one of those.
The initial selection of hand-crafted Italian copper cookware will hopefully be available in the first quarter of 2016 and will include:
